Jay Bouwmeester is killing me. Used a high draft pick to grab him in my fantasy pool. :(
Jovanovski would appear to be the living definition of what the new Coyote management claims to want to avoid -- the kind of free agent who signs in Phoenix for nicer weather, great golf, and a lack of pressure to produce. And to think they are stuck with this guy for another three seasons AFTER this one, at $6 million per. Ouch.
I'd say you missed Martin Biron. I wasn't 100% sold on him (clearly Buffalo never was) but he's having a fantastic year.
Yeah, you're right — I added him in.
Blake a disappointment? Did anyone expect him to be anything other than terrible? He's been cooked for a while now.
Disappointments that (I believe) you missed:
Miller
Marleau
St. Louis (he's doing alright for points, but I didn't think that he'd take so long getting his first goal)
Revelation: Jeff Hamilton. He's not doing spectacularly, but he's a heck of a lot better than I expected

Hamilton just missed the list.
As for Rob Blake, well, he had 14 goals and 34 points last season, and was minus-26.
This year so far, he's on pace for nine goals, 18 points and a minus-64.
Brad Boyes probably deserves to be on the list after posting 2 goals tonight (now 6g-2a-8p in 7gp).
Obviously I'm a homer, but do Cogliano or Gagner perhaps qualify as revelations, being that they're close to point/game players and all?
Shanahan is a HUGE dissapointment. Put him in there.
Cam Ward's having a great bounce-back year for Carolina. Drafted him as my backup behind Kiiprusoff but Cam's outperformed him so far.
I don't think anyone expected Sundin to be tied for the scoring lead at this point. He has been a pretty consistent point-a-game player in his career but right now he is well above that pace. Though I do recall he has had fast starts in the past and then cooled off.
I had a good feeling about Kopitar and landed him in somewhere like the 10th round of a live draft that went 25 total. I also got him in my other league.
Justin Williams has done pretty well so far.
But it seems like Kipper is aiming for the 25% rule, and I'm waiting for him to pick it up any day. I've long since dropped Lehtonen (overrated?)
I'd say Scott Hartnell has been less than stunning, with just 2 assists. I think his cap hit is something like 4.5 or 5.5.
Cheechoo has been a huge disappointment to my team. Milan Michalek is a better choice at this point.
I expected Henrik Zetterberg to be very good, but not nearly 2 points/game good!
Slava Kozlov....3 pts...ouch.
I'd say both Gagner/Cogliano have been massive shocks for the Oilers, and LaBarbera (best goalie in the AHL last year???) and Kari Lehtonen have had underwhelming seasons to date.
How could someone besides me, have fallen for Paul Mara? Every time I look at my draft I sigh and wonder what could have been?
I think you missed Toews from CHI, both he and Kane have been great so far
I think you forgot Stastny...
I think Stasny was picked to be a breakout player in most guides before the season began. And how about Crosby and Ovechkin for dissapointments? I figured they'd both be tearing it up by now.
Shanahan is definitely not doing good for me right now :(
what about sykora? he's picking it up again.
Cammalleri's 10 goals doesn't crack the list? He's on pace for a 50/50 season ;)
Besides, he's got me in first in my pool, compensating for the disappointing Kovalchuk so far.
Hmmmmm... ignore the above. Kovy's doing just fine after last night. Thanks, Toronto!
