A sportswriter at The Globe and Mail, James covers the NHL and the game of hockey. It looks like he'll be picking up his first NHL win in Philadelphia today

Of course it was 3-0 when I wrote that.
Looks like he did get the W. Good for him and the Caps.
It was funny, because Bordeau just got a mention in a Bob Mackenzie blog about what issues were hot in hockey 20 years ago just earlier this week, when he was a star player for Springfield of the AHL. He's been coaching in the minors a long time, this is a long overdue promotion.

Most impressively, he played on the Johnston Jets in the mid-70s, alongside the Hanson (Carlson) brothers!
