Quote of the day

“We’ve played more road games than any team in the league and we’ve played damn well in most of them. It wasn’t a pretty hockey game tonight, but it’s tough to win ugly, too.

“It’s like getting caught with the ugliest woman in Red Deer, standing on the street corner holding hands. That’s what tonight was like. But you know what? It takes balls to stand there and do that.”
I think maybe one of his players came up with the analogy for him.

It takes balls to stand on a street corner holding hands with the ugliest woman in Red Deer? I would have thought it would take a 40 of dark rum. Sutter speaks like a man of experience...

Going to the ugly woman/hot chick metaphors is sooooo juvenile.

When you've got hockey player money, never mind Sutter money, the ugly chick reference is perfectly valid.
