Crosby's fight

History in the making, I suppose.

Don Cherry's not going to like this one given Sid Crosby keeps his visor on the whole time, something Cherry pointed out regarding the Mike Fisher-Scott Walker headbutt tilt last week.

"Don't try to be a tough guy with a visor on," he said.

James, don't forget to mention that Ference had his visor on as well in the beginning of the fight... Your clip doesn't show that...

yeah, if you watch the whole scuffle from the begining, it really wasn't much of a fight and just sort of boiled over from the original contact. neither player had time to reach for their helmet if they had wanted to. it wasn't your typical "step-back, get ready, go!" kinda fight.

Ya, I don't think Crosby ever got the opportunity to take his visor off.

Good on him for throwing them down though. Your a killer Sydney.

Sure, it was no Domi vs. Probert, but after watching Chara and Laraque try to go at it twice, it was a beauty. The first Chara/Laraque dance was so awful they called delay of game instead of fighting or even roughing...

When did it become ok to trade pounding someone's face over and over in for glorious haymakers that never land?

I give credit to Ference for fighting a guy bigger than him.
