Links o' the day
It's a lazy Saturday afternoon over here on the left coast, with a few inches of snow on the ground and not much going on, so I've been surfing around a bit the past hour or so.
Here are some interesting links from the blogosphere:
- P.J. Swenson has a look at something called the Commoncensus Sports Map Project
- Earlier this week, Gabe Desjardins coined The "Nothing" Line for Anaheim's dead puck shutdown trio
- The fact that Henrik Zetterberg will miss tonight's game has Bill at Abel To Yzerman reaching for his barf bag
- Brandon Nolan, son of Ted, makes his NHL debut tonight in Tampa
- Matt Saler has a great preview of tonight's Wings-Wild game (for the sake of my fantasy team, I'm hoping Detroit's a bit nicer to Minnesota's goalies this time around)
- Speaking of the Red Wings, they are lapping their division (again)
- And, finally, Spector says the exodus to Europe hasn't significantly weakened the NHL's talent pool
Season's greetings.

Good segment, you show do it more often.
I think a better name for the "Nothing" line would be the "Duck and Cover" Line. Or, having just driven on Interstate 5 today myself, the "Orange Crush" line -- nothing moves when they're on the ice.
