Hockey Day in Canada

I think we're about four hours into what's a full day of hockey on CBC today, something that's worth a mention. This year, the Hockey Night crew is in Winkler, Manitoba, home of Dustin Penner and about 9,000 others.

CBC has a few websites setup for the day (with the official one, including a live stream, here). Elsewhere, Andy Grabia has his thoughts on the Battle of Alberta game and The Globe and Mail's Bill Houston weighs in on the coverage.

3 p.m. ET Detroit at Toronto
7 p.m. ET Montreal at Ottawa
7 p.m. ET Edmonton at Calgary
10 p.m. ET Colorado at Vancouver

One of the 7:00 games should have started at five. The dead time between the Leafs game and the 7:00 games stunk.
