Tocchet's return
The Phoenix Coyotes, in anticipation of the return of Associate Coach Rick Tocchet, will hold a media availability session on Wednesday, February 6 at 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at Jobing.com Arena in the Cookman Media Lounge. All media should enter Jobing.com Arena through Gate 3.
Tocchet will be available to the media in a press conference format. The event will air live on FSN Arizona.>> team release
I'm interested to see what's reported this time around.

1) With the way the Coyotes have been playing, all bets are off that Gretzky will be stepping down. At least the odds are formidable. OK, enough gambling jokes.
2) That aside, we're surprised that the NHL is allowing Tochett back after this incident. Illegal gambling is a blight that is hard to forget/forgive. The sanctity of a sport can not be preserved if there is even the slightest hint that a game can be manipulated in some way
3) What precautions is/can the NHL take here? If chronic gambling is a disease, as we're often told, how is one monitored to see that a 'relapse' isn't occurring. If it happened once, it can recur.
So if Balsillie tries to buy out the Phoenix Coyotes, can we expect the stadium to be renamed RIMJobbing.com Arena?
/brought to you by the department of dead jokes
I have always maintained that the State of New Jersey was just upset because they weren't getting their cut. It seems as if governments have no problem with gambling, so long as they are the ones getting the revenue.
When the Super Bowl cointoss happened did anyone else think "oooh, I wonder what Janet bet on".
