Zednik update

Richard Zednik has been upgraded from stable to good condition and will move to a private patient room later this afternoon at Buffalo General Hospital. Sonya Noor, M.D., the attending surgeon for Zednik, said the injured hockey player would move from the intensive care unit, where he has been since late Sunday night.

Zednik, 32, was injured during the Buffalo Sabres-Florida Panthers game Sunday night at the HSBC Arena.
