Lame. Carey Price didn't even try to stop that one. I hope, for the Habs' sake, that he doesn't play like this in the playoffs.
Somewhere Cristobal Huet is smiling.
Bad night for Carey last night... he should've stopped this one. Then again, when I was his age, God knows what I was doing in life.
The building exploded after that goal. Very good atmosphere for a game.
After, in the locker room, Campbell said he tries that move occasionally when skating out of the zone, but he said he had not scored on one.
Take a look at the highlights of that game and you will also see a phenomenal goal by Cheechoo, Thornton banking one off of the back of Carey Price from behind the net a la Gretzky, and a seeing eye goal by enforcer Jody Shelley that I think deflected off of two people. The horn briefly went off after Shelley's shot, but they played for another 15 seconds before referees whistled the play dead and sent it to video.
Pretty awesome game. Montreal is quick, and they have a pair of Kostitsyns that are fun to watch.
Huet would be smiling if he weren't injured...
Looks like a Bobby Orr give-&-go goal!
To have seen Orr play.... must have been something!
