Happy Birthday Bobby
Born 60 years ago today, Orr is unlike the rest of us in that, in those car-selling commercials, which are his main public vehicle, he still seems impossibly boyish. Through slightly misty eyes, he can look like the kid from Parry Sound, and for those who saw him play, he will forever suggest a kind of authenticity, of sports purity, that is long, long past.
