Capitals sign up Boudreau

Coach Bruce Boudreau has been given a contract to stay with the Washington Capitals, a reward for leading the team from last in the NHL to a Southeast Division title.

Capitals general manager George McPhee said Wednesday: "He's our coach. He's under contract ... for a long time."
A great story. I imagine he'll be a finalist for the Jack Adams this year, too.

1) The capitals continue to run their club with more secrecy than the Manhatten Project. Apparently Boudreau was signed weeks ago and they didn't announe it until today.
2) From being very obscure about injuries(during the playoffs we expect that but they take that same approach all season!) Now we find out about a very strait forward personell move LONG after it was official. Why wait??
