The NHL ruled today that there would not be suspension for Tom Kostopoulos's punch to Kimmo Timonen late in last night's game.

Have any thoughts Mirtle?
Stay classy Habs.
Classy or self-righteous?
If you don't like it, you have 3 more games to dole out some payback. If he comes across the middle, you settle it then.
Oh boo hoo, Philadelphia's been the dirtiest team this year.
What a chicken-sh!t punch. How is that not a suspension?
Kostopoulos should stick to his day job mugging people on the streets.
boy does that guy now have an target on his back
Admitedly, if it was upshall or, well, basically anyone on that philly team that had punched a montreal player, I'd be all up in arms. That said, good on you Tommy boy. I hate the flyers.
No need for a suspension. If it is sure that the flyers will be eliminated, Hextall will jump on the ice and blocker Kostopoulos repeatedly.
du du du du du du du du dododo dododo Steve Downie your mission if you should chose it? Your targets are a cancer Free Finn and a highly skilled Alexi.
Kostopoulos punch isn't that hard, Timonen just act like a good actor..
Someone should throw a purse at Kostopoulos
Hah.
I didn't like the punch either, but I also didn't like the Philly forward whacking Price's glove when he's going to catch the puck. It's called goaltender interference, check the rule book officials.
Oh well, the way Biron was playing, it didn't matter.
Suspension worthy? Guess that's for the NHL's random wheel of justice to decide.
Listening to any member of the Flyers organization bemoan a dirty play is a very funny joke.
Yeah, I mean if a team has committed some dirty plays it should be open season PUNCH SOME MORE GUYS! WE WANT PUNCHES!!

HAHAHAHA sure. It's not interference if the goalie's coming out of the crease to play the puck.
Good to see Uncle Jesse being so tough when a player has his back to him.
Typical chickenshit Montreal player.
Also, nice comments by Carbonneau. Hopefully he'll remember it if a Flyer takes retribution.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand, James - no comments? Don't be afraid of rioting Habs fans!
HAHAHAHA sure. It's not interference if the goalie's coming out of the crease to play the puck.
Believe it or not, whether the goalie is in his crease or not is irrelevant. Any contact that prevents the goalie from making a save, no matter where it happens, is interference. So yes, it was interference. I should rephrase that it's not a penalty, but the goal should've been disallowed.
Nevermind the interference .. why isn't it a slashing call. Y'know ... the same slashing call that we see 50 times a game when a player's stick gently taps anyone on the gloves??
