Two games to watch

Florida @ Washington
If the Capitals get a point out of this game, they win the Southeast Division and make the playoffs. If not, they don't. How's that for compelling drama?

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
If the Lightning lose in regulation, they will finish dead last and have by far the greatest chance at the No. 1 pick when the lottery draft is conducted on Monday night. They are currently tied with Los Angeles with 71 points, but the Kings have more wins.

It's 1-0 for Washington and Atlanta midway through the first period.

The Washington Capitals have announced that tickets for the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs are now on sale. With the team’s 3-1 victory over the Florida Panthers tonight at Verizon Center, the Capitals clinched their first Southeast Division title since 2001, securing the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference and home-ice advantage in the first round of the Stanley Cup quarterfinals. Washington will be making its first playoff appearance since 2003. Dates and times for the first round will be determined on Sunday evening.
And the Lightning have lost to Atlanta, meaning Tampa Bay will have the greatest chance in the lottery.
