Bloggers at the finals

...though daily newspapers are far from ubiquitous at the finals, other media are picking up the slack. Close to 700 are credentialed by the NHL to cover the Stanley Cup – including two dozen bloggers – compared to 550 last year. And journalists are stumbling over one another to praise the NHL rather than bury it.
Other than Mr. Kukla, I haven't the foggiest who the blogging crew are. Any guesses?

my guess would be that the "anonymous" (*cough*cough*) hockey blogger will be there.

I ran into Dwayne on Monday, but isn't he an entertainer?

Other than that, nada, unless you count Seth of Empty Netters at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Is Cabbie a blogger, if so, include him too.

I'm there at the Joe in the finals, but I'm working and not as a blogger so I don't need a NHL credential and I wouldn't be included in that list. :)

To be honest, I have only seen Paul at the Joe in terms of bloggers. Perhaps they are including some of the journalists who are live blogging the day events for newspapers? I know the Free Press had someone come and blog the day of Game #2 so maybe that's what they're counting? But I personally have only run into Paul...

Never mind the bloggers, who are the other 600-some people? I mean, if it's nothing but Detroit/Pittsburgh tv/radio, plus Canadians and Europeans, that doesn't really support the thesis that more credentials=greater interest from the US media.

Also, the NY Post still didn't cover Games 1 or 2.

Then again the NY Post is probably still stumping for Jagr to get the Conn Smythe. - Hockey1919
