Eastern Conference final
Pittsburgh @ Philadelphia

I've got some family coming in from B.C. today, which means I won't be particularly active here, but the crew at FanHouse will be having a live blog for the game tonight that's worth stopping by for.

The Flyers are shuffling up their lines in a last-ditch bid to win a game in this series, but still will not have Braydon Coburn in the lineup. Pittsburgh will be missing Gary Roberts.

And Eric Duhatschek looked into the potential schedule for the finals last night.

UPDATE I'll be on The Team 1260 in Edmonton at 5:50 p.m.

I can't wait to see what twists and turns Gary Bettman's "flex officiating" program takes tonight!

Will the Flyers be given a leg up by phantom interference calls, quick (or late -- or even "intended") whistles, non-calls on attempted decapitations, etc? Or will the Penguins finally get the well-deserved rest that their young bodies sorely need to prepare for the Finals?

When you have a sport where the rules can change virtually every trip down the ice, why would anyone want to watch anything else?

1) So far this series, much like the rest of the playoffs by and large, has been a complete dud!
2) An exciting Pens-Wings Finals series could help resuscitate the playoffs, but we have our doubts.

I honestly can't remember the last time the NBA playoffs were more exciting than the NHL's, let alone a lot more.
