Just some depth signings, but worth a small mention. Chicago's going to be one of the teams to watch next season.

It's no secret that the Hawks expect Byfuglien and Wisniewski to be more than depth players in the not too distant future, though. Burish they hope will be a strong PKer/checking forward down the line.

And actually, I think both Burish and Wisniewski were on Team USA this past World Championship, were they not?

You think Byfuglien is a depth signing??

I think he has the potential to be very good. I saw that in junior.

He's switched positions and spent some time in the minors last year, so we'll see. I think it'd be interesting to see him get more time in a scoring role.

The real questions for the Blackhawks are: how many games will Havlat end up playing in, can Toews play a full season and what will they do with Khabibublin.
