Price in good company
I know he's taking some knocks these days, but the fact Carey Price is playing in the postseason at all is pretty remarkable. He is, after all, only 13 months removed from the WHL playoffs with Tri-City, and at 20, he's one of the few NHL goaltenders that age to ever get this deep in the second season.
I put together a quick look at Globe on Hockey at the only three others who have played 10 or more playoff games at age 20 or younger: Patrick Roy, Harry Lumley and Mike Moffat.
Two are in the Hall of Fame, and they both went to the finals as rookies.
In related news, Price gets the start in Game 5 tomorrow.
