Pronger, Arnott offer finals commentary

Two team captains, Anaheim's Chris Pronger and Nashville's Jason Arnott, are moonlighting a bit in these playoffs, putting their thoughts together for the Los Angeles Times and The Tennessean.

Here's Pronger:
...Pittsburgh doesn't want to do the little things. They don't want to dump the puck in. They want to be a puck-possession team as they have been in the first three rounds, but it's tough to do that in Detroit.
Both know the Red Wings well, so it makes for interesting copy.

They don't dump the puck in?!? Has Pronger been watching the series? That's all Pittsburgh does, then Lidstrom, Rafalski, Kronwall, or Stuart get it, and before Pittsburgh can forecheck they've already moved the puck to a forward breaking the zone.

I agree with Chris, not Pronger. Pens dump it in all the time and nobody is going after it at the right time. And out Detroit comes, time after time.

Yeah, Pronger isn't watching the games. If anything I thought they'd do more puck possesion and try and wear the older Red Wings out.

Once again Pronger proves he isn't very bright or insightful.
