Round 3 schedule
Apparently the conference finals schedule will see Philadelphia play Game 1 in Pittsburgh on Friday, which would mean the Western Conference finals between Detroit and San Jose/Dallas would take place on Thursday night in Detroit.
I'll update as soon as this is confirmed, although a full schedule likely won't be available until the Sharks-Stars series is over. Game 6 in that one is tonight, with Game 7 to be played Tuesday.
UPDATE The Penguins-Flyers date is confirmed.
UPDATE A commenter notes NBC will not have a game this weekend due to their golf coverage, but I'd still bet we see that game played Sunday, perhaps in the evening.

"with Game 7 to be played Tuesday."
Dallas fans are hoping that won't be a prophetic statement ;)
Hey, I think people are smart enough to know Game 7s always come with an "if necessary" tag.
NBC doesn't have hockey coverage next week because of the TPC. So there won't be afternoon games the first week of the Conference finals but there will for the second weekend (one game for both the eastern and western series).
Good point. I can't figure out why Pittsburgh-Philadelphia wouldn't be playing Wednesday or Thursday, then.
Ya seems crazy that if the Stars win tonight we won't have hockey until Thursday. Good way to have people lose interest.
The only reason I can think of is that the league already has the dates for the finals set in stone and they're not going to shift things unless absolutely necessary (like two sweeps next round). My guess:
Game 1: Sat May 24
Game 2: Mon May 26
Game 3: Wed May 28
Game 4: Sat May 31
Game 5: Mon June 2
Game 6: Wed June 4
Game 7: Sat June 7
James, NBCSports.com (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/23030609) is showing Game 4 of the ECF for Saturday, May 17th at 1:30pm
Why so early? The Preakness Stakes is later that day.
Oh, that should be fun if we get an OT treat
