Timonen to miss rest of playoffs
Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen was diagnosed with a blood clot in his left ankle today. He will be out for the remainder of the playoffs.
The diagnosis was made at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Timonen said.

Ouch. That's huge- he was going to be needed big time to shut down Crosby and/or Malkin.
I think everyone who picked the Pens to win this series feels a little more confident now.
A blood clot?!?! He's missing the playoffs for that!??!
I guess the Flyers aren't as tough as their fans think they are.
everyone wants to look at this at a X and O's point of view but we should take a step back and be thankful that nothing serious happen to one of the game's nicest guys

A blood clot, if it breaks loose, can kill you.
Nothing about being tough or not.
I think the guy was kidding about not being tough lol. I hope he fully recovers. Tough loss for Philly but that said GO PENS!!!
