2007-08 Jack Adams voting

My pick for the award, Red Wings coach Mike Babcock, was actually a distant third, unfortunately. Trotz was a decent pick, however, given the cast he had.

Two coaches who received some support have been fired: Wilson and Quenneville. I received some outraged emails when the nominees were announced regarding the Flyers' John Stevens, but he didn't get a sniff here.

Laviolette and Gretzky are the only coaches with votes despite the fact their teams missed the playoffs. The coach whose team had the most points without getting a vote was Randy Carlyle from Anaheim.

Carlyle didn't get much love last year either.

I'm surprised Babcock finished so far out. The Jack Adams award has become the 'most improved team' award, not really the best coaching award in recent years.

Wow no love for Craig MacTavish for what he did with the Oilers this season?!?!?
