Red Wings on Leno
If there's one thing hockey players should never, ever do on a variety show, it's sing.

Hilarious :)
I love how those guys managed to get on stage to see the Cup.
I thought it was great. It shows that, off the ice, they don't take themselves too seriously. Having to sit through Jay's monologue waiting for Ozzie and Lids was torture though.
I love that guy was wearing a Gerard Gallant jersey. The only thing that might have been better would have been a Probert or Klima jersey

You could just save time and money by having a jersey with "Rehab" on the back, and maybe the number 94 or something like that for the year they were in it together. In fact at one point Klima was in the rehab center in my tiny hometown of Memphis, MI. Good times.
When Yzerman visited Leno six years ago he got to sit down and it was actually an interview (well, Leno can't interview).
NBC is involved with NHL and 38yr. old legend like Lidström is wearing hockey sweater and singing Timberlake? Give me a break.
NHL should have demanded some chair time or not go at all. You think any Super Bowl, MLB or NBA champion would show up for a short sing and dance routine.
They wouldn't even need the trophy with them. It's automatic chair time beside the host.
This was like begging for attention and couple of veterans had to do it. Send Filppula and Hudler if it's going to be "comedy" act.
No wonder Tiger doesn't watch hockey anymore.
Good call, anon. I don't think the ducks got chair time last year either, but I remember it being equally awkward
