That's a dandy lookin dog there Jim
I, for one, enjoy your striking new take on the leaping coyote.
It's possible he's flying. Maybe it's Air Bud?
Third jerseys are, by definition, horrible. I don't care what they look like. You have a home jersey, you have an away jersey, and anything more is cheap and lame marketing.
I think it symbolises them leaping into the middle of the conference standings
Where is the lazy brown dog?

For the most part, I have little use for third jerseys. The University of Michigan wears them for big games. NCAA Tournament, the GLI, CCHA Final Four, and a few, picked opponents. The Gophers, apparently, are considered a big rivalry, because Michigan is always wearing the maize jerseys when I visit my parents for Thanksgiving when the College Hockey Showcase is in Michigan. (My priorities can be established in that I don't go visit my parents for Thanksgiving when the Showcase is up here.)
That works for me. Wearing third jerseys at random times strikes me as nothing more than cheap marketing.
I'm also struck, looking through this post, just how much more aesthetically pleasing I find the old logos than the ones that replaced them. Penguins. Sabres. In both cases, I prefer logos that I can understand. About the only modern logo I've really liked was the original Coyotes crest; that was nice.
