Who should the Islanders hire?

Islanders GM Garth Snow apparently has seven candidates lined up to replace Ted Nolan behind the bench, a cast that Newsday's Greg Logan did a nice job running through on Sunday morning.

It's probably worth noting that three of these fellows coached teams that finished lower than the 26th-place Islanders last season, and Gerard Gallant was an assistant on Nolan's dysfunctional crew.

1) The better question is who would want the job? Are these guys that desperate for work that they'd subject themselves to a franchise being run by a nut case?
2) Wang, originally thought by Isles fans as the savior has become Steinbrenner(without the success) putting his hands on all major player moves despite admitting he doesn't understand the game.
3) The team, as is, is destined for a bottom 5 finish. Again, who would take such a job?

I voted other.

It's obvious that he is going to hire himself. It's the Islander Circus so that is the only possible move that could be made.

Tortorella! He is running out of options and how could we live without his comments?

Torts (or Burkie) invented NHL hockey and we need to hear about day after day.

Islanders could use the hype, too. And wouldn't you like to see Isles vs. Tampa when Mini-Mullet meets The Mullet as coaches?

I miss Quinn, Burns and always Cherry. Now we have to listen to these "puck management", "puck tracking" etc. comments.

Shut your yap! is what I want to hear.

And please hire Bob Clarke as GM somewhere. Anywhere! If not here then in KHL where he could return to the scene of his crime.
