CBC to stream preseason game
Hockey fans can get a dose of pre-season NHL hockey on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. ET, as CBCSports.ca presents live coverage of Buffalo Sabres versus Montreal Canadiens, live from Roberval, Que. – winner of Kraft Hockeyville 2008.>> press release
Roberval received $100,000 as a result of winning the contest, money that will go toward upgrading the local arena. The rink, which will host the NHL preseason game, seats just 1,250.
If anyone's planning on attending and can provide pictures, I'd be glad to post them here.

Will they unblock the stream for the States?
RDS is airing this game on cable. They've recently announced a online stream of all their Habs broadcasts (for a fee). Not sure if that's available in the US. It'll be a French language broadcast, but it'll be of good quality (HD usually, but maybe not in this case given the locale).
Too bad it's on a weeknight or I could have made it as it's only a 2-hour ride from here!
Use Hotspot Shiled if you want to hide your IP address to watch a game in Canada. I do it from Canada to watch games on Yahoo. It's free and easy to do!
It'll also be on NHL Network, dunno if it's airing in the US though...
I smell the next NHL expansion team. Insert typical anti-american statement here.
Best post this year James, keep up the um-uh work.
