The polls come in
Who you picked to make the playoffs

Back in Toronto and back on the clock. If you sent me an email over the past week, sit tight while I sift through them.

As for the Eastern and Western playoff polls, here are the results after nearly 20,000 votes (percentages reflect the number of voters who picked a team to make the postseason this year):

Well, picking Pittsburgh to make the playoffs isn't exactly the same as picking them to finish first.

As a collective, clearly we put a lot of emphasis on last season's performance and additionally (and probably excessively) playoff results.

With that in mind I really don't think Nashville is getting enough respect.

Well I did pick Nashville. As for Pittsburgh, it's hard to see who in the east is going to beat them. Montreal is decent, but doesn't have the depth and Price is still a bit of an unknown.
