Canadians head to NFL camps

A brief hiccup in the hockey-alanche to note that the NFL season is nearly upon us. Up north, we lack our own team, and patriotic Canucks are left rooting for the few Canadians who can chase a pigskin at the highest level.

Let's just say there's a heckuva lot more of us spending time at the rink.

I read your blog on occasion and enjoy it. So not to be critical, but I noticed Dallas kicker Shaun Suisham is listed from Welland, Ontario. Shaun was born and grew up in Wallaceburg, ON, which is in the Chatham area. He played his high school football in our league and made some big kicks back then. Somewhere along the way someone mixed up Wallaceburg with Welland and it's been repeated ever since.
No offence, but I gotta support my hometown boys.
