'Redecoration' with Ryan Malone

"They can do whatever they want," Penguins forward Ryan Malone said. "They can paint the room pink if they want. I don't think it's going to change our mind or our attitude.

"There's all kinds of little games. There's so much attention on every game the media probably reads more into it than the players do."
The Senators have apparently put up a large photo of them shaking hands with the Penguins after the first round last year, although I'm not quite sure why. Poor timing by the decorating committee, in any event, as the last thing this team needs is a motivated Pittsburgh team.

Ottawa must win tonight to avoid being on the other end of the hand shakes this year.

James, the mural was actually put up before the playoffs according to Chris Stevenson of the the Ottawa Sun, but nonetheless, not a smart idea to keep it up at this point.

Maybe it was Don Brennan's idea.

The Sens, in another brillaint attempt to improve morale, painted over the Penguins shaking hands with another aquatic fowl logo .... the Ducks.
